  • SPACE TYPE
  • Global space - beam emitter stays in global space regardless of its parent assembly
  • Emitter space - beam emitter moves and rotates together with its parent assembly
  • Local space - beam emitter moves and rotates with its parent assembly, but its starting speed is also dependant on the parent assembly speed and rotation
  • Permanent - Permanent beams exist permanently after they're fired, and a new cycle never starts (all Emission parameters have no effect after the first beam is fired)
  • BEAM
  • Start color/time graph - governs how patch color and transparency will change over time, at the beginning of the beam
  • End color/time graph - governs how patch color and transparency will change over time, towards the end of the beam
  • Size/time graph - governs how beam width will change over time
  • PATCH
  • Patch list - choose which patches the beam will use
  • Patch type - choose how beam patches will exchange.
    Loop = standard loop from first to last and switch back to first for a new cycle
    Random = at random
    Loop around = from first to last and then backwards to first again
  • Frame time - set life time of an individual patch, before switching to the next patch on the list
  • TEXTURE
  • Speed - set flow speed of the beam (texture UV scroll)
  • Tile number per unit - if checked, Tile number refers to 1 distance unit; otherwise Tile number refers to entire beam length
  • Tile number - set how many times a texture will repeat
  • LIFE TIME
  • Lock time in... - set whether graph time is counted from 0 to 1 or from 0 to max time
  • Time beam life time
  • Time delta - life time offset
  • EMISSION
  • Time time between two emissions
  • Time delta random offset of emission time
  • Count number of beam patches emitted at once
