AMBIENT EDITOR

The Ship editor is where you go when you're ready to adjust ship parameters (speed, hull, turrets etc.)

Let's start with the Ship properties panel...

  • Skybox Set which skybox the ambient will use.
  • Color Set material values.
  • Cube map Assign Ambient and Reflection maps.
  • Light Set color position and color.
  • Flares list Add individual flares into the ambient. Usually goes with the skybox.

Ambients are assigned to a sector in the header of each sector file
